How did they lose the ball from their goal kicks a few times in the first half?

We won the ball on a high press a couple of times. On one occasion Pritchard ****ed up the chance to make more of it.

I even said to the lad next to me had Ba started on the wing we'd of had more joy.

Ba he’s had loads of chances
    He couldn’t tie prichards boots
Not yet anyway and the same with Auchie at the moment both can’t oust Prichard out the team
    It’s been proven

I was told yesterday that we have offered Pritchard a 2 year deal but on 50% of what he's on now. I don't know how true this is but a friend was sitting beside a family member of Pritchards at Ipswich.

Fairly sure that’ll be complete nonsense. There’s no point making that offer and it’s obvious it would piss Pritchard off which isn’t very helpful whilst we’re playing him and a bit pointless if it’s designed to get him to leave given he’s leaving in summer already and we’re allegedly turning down bids.

Better than Pritchard on the right wing though. Pritchard needed to be where golden knackers was

Given he’s on a L1 contract and wages, I doubt it.

That’s disgraceful if true, him and Clarke are the only creative players we have at the moment. I’d be totally pissed off if I was Pritchard, being asked to play out of position and also the contract carry on.

I don’t think a single sunderland fan would blame him if he left.

A couple of times in 90 minutes still isn't a sufficient press. I also recall as I said Rusyn running himself but with no back up. The odd occasion is not acceptable and of course there will be individual times we do it. Look at Newcastle albeit a far superior team it was constant, every time we got the ball, we were closed down.

Im not against pritchard leaving at the end of the season as i think thatll open up more game time for a player like Rigg (also think Adil will have a big impact nxt season) but we can not afford to let pritchard go this month

We lack so much creativity at the minute due to the way we are set up n the tactics we use - therefore you need players like pritchard who can unlock a defence

No idea if true but heard hes keen on a move to the states - not from the most reliable of sources so no idea

A bad example this I know but if you could get Smodicz (probably spelled that wrong) on Pritchards wages it would be a no brainer. I think Pritchard is by far the best 10/AM we’ve got but if you had the budget and you could see a younger version smashing goals in on the same wages you’d do what they’re doing. Our issue is we don’t have the same quality at the club and our summer signings left us weaker so we’ve stopped trusting the possible replacements.

We did, hence why we forced them into a few errors, problem was we didn't create anything after winning the ball back

Yeah we just can’t let Prichard go
There is no one in the squad nearly as good enough

He will be the highest paid player at the club. And I imagine he was on a decent contract in L1

Can you effectively play the press with a strolling minstrel in the no 10 role, Rusyn ran his socks off , Pritch and Clarke out wide and Jobe was well Jobe, I,ve no idea where he was supposed to be playing, or what his role was, and it looked not for the first time like he wasn't sure either..
