L homme presse will be interesting in the 300 at ling , comes from a long lay off but the crookies are still scared
Must be bad for Fakenham to be called off this early. Mr Hunter normally waits until everybody has paid to get in before calling it off.

Not sure I really understand the thinking behind some of these fixture changes introduced this season. The Lightning Novices Chase used to be part of a superb card at Doncaster with two other grade 2 races (mares hurdle and River Don novices hurdle) plus the Great Yorkshire Chase. Now it has been moved to this "Winter Milions" card at Lingfield and that entire card is being moved to Windsor next year. Whilst the Lightning Novices Chase failed to attract more than 6 runners in the last 20 years it has had some good winners (including Shishkin) and I just don't understand why you would take the race away from Donny. Anyway, this year's renewal has been saved from the abandoned Friday card and has attracted a decent field of 5. Things have not really gone right for JPR One the last couple of runs but I hope he can put his best foot forward today and show he is an Arkle contender. Great to see L'Homme Presse back and hopefully he can throw down a Gold Cup marker today.
In the bumper at Lingfield today the four year old fillies get a lot of weight from the older horses so NAOMHI trained by Alan King and with a fair flat pedigree could be worth a dabble. 30/1 with 365 paying 4 places.
Racing went ahead at Thurles anyway, very difficult conditions with a status Orange wind and rain warning in play. I see Harmonya Maker turned a mere 36 length defeat lto to the favourite Hautiere there too just now. Hard to keep up sometimes, I know the ground was on the heavy side at Limerick but it certainly wouldn't be far off it in Thurles today, so I wonder what was amiss the last day.
In the 16:10 finalé at Lingfield, a Class-3 Handicap Hurdle over an extended 2m3f on soft ground, the French-bred gelding, Inthewaterside, has a decent chance in this open-looking affair. Harry Cobden on board for the Paul Nicholls stable 11/2 (BetMGM//BetUK) best price at time of writing. E/W best option, especially if there's any drift in the odds.
The trip may be a tad on the sharp side but I still expect Triple Trade to run a big race in the 13.50. Hopefully there will be a bit pace on around 7/1 far too big
It looks bloody horrible there STH. Fair play to the crowd of 7 people they were cheering them home a long way out. Maybe the ITV sound geezer pressed the crowd noise button a tad too early
