If our model makes our pool of manager searches limited, and the best we can get is Beale, then we need a serious change in model.

True, but your point was about our refusal to pay compensation "under KLD" so I was pointing out that this is normal SAFC behaviour

I don't expect anything from us at set pieces. On paper Pritchard takes a good free kick but nothing ever comes from it, corners are either ****e or nobody gets near it despite having a good few players well over 6 foot.

One of the things I hope we're looking at this window is bringing in a set piece specialist. Could make all the difference.

Who was the last manager we appointed who was in a job? Jack Ross?

Could be something to do and picking the same out of form players gams after game , while ignoring options we saw it with TM and we are seeing it with MB.

Unmarked with space, much like Chapman last week.

Would it help of we moved away from the 4231 we seem determined to play no matter what?

Trouble is the squad is unbalanced and lacking in the 2 key areas and with injuries we need a full back as well

We didn't play that yesterday, was much more of a 4141 with Ekwah sitting and Neil and Jobe pushing on.

It's a variant of it though, still the same 4 at the back, still the same midfield, still the same lone front man

Horrific stat. One of those were bottom of the league and Preston were probably close to the bottom of the form table too

    Yep. The cold hard reality.

Some performance culture we have. It's absolutely garbage.

Yep, took plenty of time at the end of the match to wander around the pitch and clap the fans. Looked like he was saying his goodbyes.

Both O’Nien and Patterson came over to him to hug.

Pritch and Jobe in the same areas. A centre back playing out of position being asked to cover the full right side. Pathetic tactics.

Just look how unbalanced we are when he plays Pritchard on the right. It’s so bloody obvious that’s an issue.

    Grow up man.

I've not seen anyone on here like that tbh.

There's been a few 'wait and see' people based on the poor start from Mowbray. I said I'd wait 'til the end of January before I judged him ...

... after last night I suspect I know what the answer will be.
