Sometimes you've just got to grind it out. Tonight we ground it out. Select your top three, in order.
Coyle.... especially considering he got his card relatively early... and for p'ing Sky off... and the rest of them... and the manager and his team..
Ok Carvalho moment of magic scored goal but no way was he MotM. Coyle by far. Utterly astonishing captain’s performance. Jacob - so solid. Looks at home. Allsop. Great save and looked solid.
1. Captain Lewie Coyle. One of our own. 2, Carvelleo. 3. Matty Jacob. .... What is it with referees and Hull City? Seven bookings? and not a bad tackle in the game. Classic away performance, wish I was well enough to be there. Rosy was under pressure tonight and didn't have a lot to pick from but the lads he put out there played for him. played for the badge, and did us all proud. Well done to players and those who travelled. UTT.
Coyle… led like a captain and frustrated Clarke. Brilliant Carvalho… quality goal. The thought of him, Delap and Philogene in together is scary and mouthwatering Docherty… Give it everything and put himself about. Hull City… you frustrate us to death at times but I love you! Utt
Coyle best defender & best attacker 1st half, kept Clarke quiet in second half well Carvalho. Quality strike & fantastic effort through the game Greaves solid assured performance no panic, just did all the basic defending really well Despite all the excellent performances through the season, this could be the game we look back on and say…. that game at Sunderland got us into the top six
plus Ekwah should have been booked earlier for pulling a player back and when he got his yellow later on he should have been off
Coyle - captain fantastic. Carvalho - created space for himself and others, took his goal well. Jacob - looking assured, pleased for the lad. Well done City.! UTT
Coyle Jacob Carvalho Defence on the whole were very good, but Jacob plays like he's so much more experienced than he is. And Carvalho is brilliant at getting us up the pitch through a press. He's really good in tight spaces, and of course has that end product to win is the game (yes, via a deflection).
