There must be other stats dropping off a cliff for Speakman to look at, we don't seem to be anywhere near the energy levels in terms of pressing, turnovers in the opposition half, its all too passive and slow. Speakman is under a bit of pressure here as well as Beale imo.
I thought there were positives in there. We winning the ball much higher up the pitch than against Ipswich. Moved the ball forward a bit quicker. I like Seelt, thought he looked quite good and got forward better than I thought he might. Hemir had some decent touches. Ba and Pembele looked dangerous down the right. It's frustrating when Clarke checks back rather than play a ball into the box. It is becoming slightly concerning that dropping Jobe for a game or two isn't allowed. We might have looked a bit more balanced without him tonight. Still, despite all this, there will nothing but negatives on here. If it wasn't for a fortuitous goal, it would be a different story.
I wouldn’t want to work under speakman as a manager. Keane turned it down, Mowbray and Niel lasted under 18 months despite both doing good jobs. I’d wager Will Still and other potential candidates turned it down. Speakman meddles in team affairs IMO. You can see that with the continuous selection of Bellingham.
No he's not..another who.doesnt like.the way Beale talks.and is making a big deal of.every little thing he does wrong. Fine margins in last two games. Unlucky to.lose them.both..the squad isn't good enough..
