My birds doing some at home crime case thing my sister got her for Xmas. Looks quite good, it's got photos, statements, evidence files and all kinds but Shes got no chance without me and I've been banned from helping.
Surprised Bobby, why didn't you get a quote for the works first and get her to pay for it before doing the work?
I have fully comp insurance that allows me to drive any car and when I bought my latest car I informed the insurance company and they doubled the premium so I cancelled the insurance, then rang the company back applying as a new customer and got a quote for less than I was paying for my other car, ironically I was speaking to the same person that doubled my insurance, once it was all sorted I questioned him about the differenced he said its crazy but that is just the way things work these days with car insurance I wont name the company but they use a bulldog to drive their cars
So, it's my birthday so I sack off work early and head off home with the plan being a few beers and a dominoes with the kids, meal out with Mrs Chief tomorrow. First though, I've got to nip to town to pick up my watch from repair & service, which will cost a ****ing bomb. On route to that, I turn down a side street and a car coming the other way (man in a Fiesta with small car syndrome) drives past a passing place and refuses to move, Mexican stand off ensues. End up squeezing past this **** and then hit something. Turns out to be a wheel of a parked van, massive bang but no visible significant damage. Drive round the corner and the steering's a bit funny, so park up and can no longer reverse. I'm boring myself now so will try to cut it short, the lower suspension arm snapped. AA sent out breakdown, they turned up two hours later and said it was an accident, so called emergency recovery (£330) and restarted the clock. That was another 2.5 hours wait. Pissed in a bottle twice. Anyway, got home at eight, five hours after the bump. Many happy returns!
Looking at the parking of the other four vehicles I was going to ask if he drove the wrong way down a one way street, assuming the badly parked car at the end is Chief's, but I'm not feeling brave enough
Badly parked is snapped suspension!! I walked back to take the photo. It's right outside a ****hole pub. Blokes all shouting I'd hit his van. Van man comes out and says it's fine, you've not caused any damage. Not to yours no, it's mine that's damaged ffs, you're outside the parking space! Didn't know how badly at that point, that came to light round a couple more corners. Fiesta man drove off, obvs.
Had to do a double check but it's not one way!! You had me doubting myself. Right outside the 'New Wyndham'. No one way arrow.
