All these have been stupid and unnecessary. I think posters were bemoaning our lack of tacklers, not stupidity.
A lot of talk about individual errors casing our defensive issues but I think this game has highlighted the real issue pretty well. The gap we leave between defence and midfield is always massive and teams put us on the back foot with ease, were constantly having to be reactionary which is harder to do and creates more mistakes.
Tufan for Sharp is the obvious change up front at some point but I don’t see who comes on in midfield really
A bit of a non-event so far, though in our position with so many out I'll take that. We need to be careful not to end up down to 10 men. Jones is having a poor game so far, has given the ball away too often.
Coyle's yellow for instance wasn't stupid he was competing for the ball, it was unnecessary though, shouldn't have had his arm up, though I do think he was just trying to protect his space. Was lucky not to be off. Morton's I think was necessary, player was running through us like Rowe.
