The (15:25) at Wolverhampton, a Class-5 Fillies' Handicap over an extended 1m1f on the Tapeta surface, gives the fairly unexposed
Night Of Thunder filly, Noble Sovereign, a decent chance of a good run. Hollie Doyle is on board for the David Loughnane yard.

5/1 (Bet365/Unibet) best early-doors price on ATR at time of writing. E/W best option in this event.

Wondered where the top-class French jockey, Mickael Barzalona, had got to. However, see he has 7-rides at Meydan, Dubai, today. Many of his mounts have little chance, but he certainly should win the last race on Mount Tambora, the odds-on favourite.

Loads of well-known jockeys from the UK and Ireland are over there too.

Siding with Johnny James EW in the 14.15W today 8/1.

Doesn't need to improve a huge amount to be in the shake up.

About a week ago I sent a very short email to Godolphin regarding the status of its retained jockeys. In the old days Godolphin were really good in answering emails with informative and helpful replies. A bit different nowadays. The reply I got was from their Darley Stud, who gave me full information on sending a mare to the stud!

I only have the one mare, and was quickly advised that she had no interest whatsoever in being sent to the Darley Stud. <whistle>
Thank the good Lord for that. :emoticon-0142-happy

Well done. I'm glad I left that race alone. I almost dutched and that would have been down the pan with neither of them getting placed <doh>
