That was my thought rather than "he's not going anywhere". I mean, I doubt he is going, but it meant that as much as the other.

I was always a huge fan of the signing. But he’s been far better than I thought he would be. His attitude, mainly coming off the bench, has been absolutely excellent.
Obviously, we would all like a player that makes us better and boosts us to definitely claiming an auto spot, but not losing anyone is just as important. No more business sounds fine.
It would be a little odd if the one position we add in is CM. Don't get me wrong, the added depth there is welcome, but considering we have 4 or 5 CMs and 0 natural RW, it just seems strange. Hopefully Martin is just playing it down to manage expectations in the case we don't pull it off. I'd be disappointed if the club weren't really pushing for a RW.
