I doubt it too... But don't like how many nuclear equiped nations are involved in squabbles at the moment. US, Russia, UK, Israel, Pakistan.
If Iran hadn't **** themselves 20+ yrs ago after 9/11, they'd have had nukes too. Ironically with the means to do so provided to them by Pakistan.
I think if there was a genuine threat that Iran were getting nukes during the Bush administration the US would have absolutely invaded Iraq. How long did the standing Iraqi army last? 2 weeks?
Nobody wants to start a direct conflict with a nuclear state and I don't think it'd be in Pakistan's interest to start a war with Iran either. Only one of those nations you mention is in a direct conflict and they were the aggressor. Well suppose you could say Israel are too but they are hardly going to nuke Gaza. People spend far too much worrying about geopolitics imo when most of it is just posturing.
The U.S. didn't know about it though. Iran bottled it thinking Aneicans were going to invade everyone after 9/11 and gave up Pakistan who were giving them all the intel to build one. Then had the IAEA on their arse ever since. Idiots Tbf the Iraqi army were always pussies. They did well to last 2 weeks. The Iranians are a different kettle of fish. Disciplined hardcore fanatics.
North Korea. Taunts everyone every few weeks. Fires nuclear-capable missiles over neighbours territory frequently. No one touches. Saddam Hussein has very tenuous links to 9/11 and once invaded Kuwait because Kuwait was stealing their oil. Shouldn't be a surprise why Iraq got invaded and NK left alone. Sends the message: if you want the US to leave you alone... You better have nukes.

The Iran/Iraq war. And plenty of military analysts. Nobody wants to take on Iran in a conventional war on their turf because of it.

You do realise that I wasn't talking about them going around invading other countries? I replied initially to a post about the Iraqi's caving in to being invaded. I replied in comparison about the Iranian army if they were invaded. No fcker is going to do it because the **** show they would encounter. In that respect disciplined and fanatical describes them perfectly.
