Solid defending and fast counter attacking might get us something but the odds don't look great at the moment. On Lokilo I quite like him and would give him the start personally. I think his 'poor crossing' isn't helped by our slower build up play. Whether he cuts in to cross or hits the byline to cross he's got too many defenders to thread the ball through/over.

Beale is very much under the cosh at Sunderland at the minute. Perfect time to play them as he’s losing the dressing room already

Lokilo dove-tailed well with Christie but that's about it, and that's probably because Christie could do the things that Lokilo can't, like beat a man. The play often slows down when he gets the ball and it feels as though he doesn't really know what to do with it.

It works if you have someone willing to beat a man on the other side. All too often we’ve had Twine though recently who does the exact same thing

Unless I’ve missed it and Woo has gone on loan already I don’t understand why we don’t play him in seris role alongside Morton

slater needs to go right to give our rb some cover against their match winning winger.
We’ve just given chances to Allahyar and furlong why not Woo

I see Rob Jones is the ref who normally does premier league games and is pretty poor at that.

I'll be amazed if we get anything from this game, fortunately we have points in the bag so shouldn't get sucked into a relegation battle.

I'm not sure he's lost the dressing room? I agree he's under the cosh in terms of winning their fans over because a lot of them were miffed at the loss of Tony Mowbray,he needs to be winning games, especially at home to get them onside, but that's no different from any other side in the Championship.

If we had been at full strength I'd have given us an even money chance of going and getting a win but we're absolutely ****ed with injurys at the moment, that makes it a much tougher game.

Woods has been isolated since the summer. Didn't get a squad number while Sinik and others did, and if I remember rightly we excluded him from our last few friendlies before he left, despite him playing in the first few and some people being impressed with him in those games. I wonder if something went on with him, a fallout or something.

I’ve been saying this all season, nobody seems to know. It’s very odd how he’s just gone from club to club and been ****. He’s clearly a talented player and reads the game well, so something is going on for him. He should have been a star of league one but he could barely get in the Bristol team, he’s much better than that.

It’s nice to play in Sunderland’s great big Geordie shadow.

**** hand but we’ll bluff it.

Not lost but he’s well on his way. Heard a lot of things about Beale when he’s the main man, really neglects players and throws them under the bus a lot. Won’t see March

Under the circumstances I'd take a point now. Not ideal but they need time to steady the ship and get new players in asap.

He left an extremely poor impression when he was bumped from Rangers, seemed pretty clueless to me(the vast majority of Rangers supporters seemed to concur) but he's already pulled off a win for them(Sunderland) on our turf and he'll be keen to do the double tomorrow night...

They have some decent young players and Mowbray did a lot of good work before he left,it'll take a monumental effort for him to get the fans on his side but it's not impossible.

I don't rate or like him personally but it doesn't affect me or Hull City.

If we went gung-ho and had a real go at them tomorrow night it could unsettle him,the players and the fans.I'd like to see Rosenior having a real good go at them tomorrow but I'm not at all convinced he will!!
