No worries Bobster - you'll be nowhere near the sort of levels that might attract attention - and it wouldn't be tax (HMRC) to worry about - more money laundering ...
Thanks lads I think we are going down the road of him giving me the cash and then it’s up to me… We know he’ll be taxed on it but neither of us want a record of me receiving it. He’s going to ring the bank later and order the sum of money he’s giving me. I suspect we’ll need to wait until Friday or possibly early next week before it’s ready.
He’s always been a gambler. Probably has only a couple month to go. 300 a week is pointless in the grand scheme of things. Could we not go a couple grand a week and just tell them he blew it with the bookies?
Fk knows tbh dude I paid little attention apart from her saying the odd bit to me most of it was involved with the police in whatever capacity which she trained for during her stint in the tax office…..before she was onto individuals on radar she started with likes of me and you before corporate one she mentioned was Aston Villa she was throwing work in the bin in her last position with gifts of 30million yatchs as an example being dished out before jacking it in because it was breaking her mentally and then started training for nursing which at least gave you her the peace of mind she was doing something good for society instead of a negative feeling of playing us and THEY……THEY LIVE whilst we fight for the crumbs they left over
You think you’ve got problems and then you read something like this A two-year-old boy and his dad have been found dead at a property in Skegness, prompting a "rapid review". Bronson Battersby was found alone in the house with his 60-year-old dad, named locally as Kenneth, on 9 January. It is thought the toddler starved to death after his dad had a heart attack. The family was known to children's services and Lincolnshire County Council confirmed it had launched a review of the agencies involved in the case. Its executive director of children services, Heather Sandy, described the deaths as "devastating" and "tragic". "Kenneth has passed away at his home," she told BBC Radio 4's World at One. "He was at home on his own with Bronson and that meant that there was nobody left to give Bronson care, and sadly as a result of that, Bronson has also passed away." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-68007571
Only one thing I'll mention here Saf...is if the people your dad phones at the bank, especially local branches (although most no longer exist) know your father, there's a thing that could trigger an internal safe guard (query), in situations where someone is deemed vulnerable (not suggesting your dad is vulnerable, just merely the terminology of it) - I had to google the name of it, it's called 'demographic or transactional data monitoring,' I assume it can be triggered when transactions based on history are appearing out of the norm, because banks are supposed to have a duty of care - so what does this mean in simple terms, they could just ask a few more questions than normal, just to check everything is ok. Don't get me wrong, he's perfectly entitled to withdraw what he likes when he likes, I'm merely saying there could be a trigger point at some time behind it all. Hope that makes sense.
Yeah it does mate. When his wife died her daughters were on his case when they realised she left everything in the will to go to him and not them. He’s a pushover and they took advantage. He ended up drawing 60k out the bank for them (30k each) and he had to see them at the bank and answer questions face to face like was he being coerced into it. Stuff like that.
well that and i would have to die in 7 years and in any case i wouldn't give a ****, i'm dead its up to them to sort out the inheritance tax
Poor little lad. Saw another report this morning, where the mom was blaming Social services, the Social worker went on the 2nd and 4th Jan, on both occasions she contacted police, she then traced the landlord and got the keys to the property on the 9th and she discovered the bodies, poor girl. Beggars the question, the dads heart attack was thought to have happened boxing day night, hecwas discovered the 9th Jan, where was the doting mom in that time. As he was under weekly Social visits he was obviously a very vulnerable child, and she was probably had restricted visiting but still.
Hire Japanese people to stand outside Greggs to save the NHS. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/...s_campaign=1490&ito=social-twitter_mailonline
I don't think he died on Boxing Day bcos the social worker had spoken to the dad on 27th and arranged the visit for 2nd Jan. Tbh regardless of what the mum says I can't see how (from what's been reported) social services have done anything wrong. If the child is known to social services and they notify the police, they should be getting into that property straight away on 2nd Jan. Doesn't mean the littlun would've been saved, but I guess we'll only know that when they establish when he died.
The report I read said the last known contact the dad had with someone, was a neighbour who took them some things around on Boxing day.
Not sure then. I watched it on the news so pulled this. https://www.itv.com/news/calendar/2...of-father-and-two-year-old-son-found-at-house Lincolnshire County Council has confirmed that Bronson was known to children's services, and that a social worker had been in touch with Mr Battersby on 27 December to arrange a visit for 2 January.
Not doubting you mate, it was just what I read, perhaps the statement came out after what I read was printed
Tragic thing was no real attempt was made to gain entry despite the fears that something might have gone wrong If the dad had an outstanding parking fine the bailiffs would have been straight in and the boy may have survived Modern life
We could learn a lot from Japan. I especially like these bits… 'A lot of Japanese people are very disciplined. We believe that harmony is very important, so that if you are too big and you stand out too much, you kind of destroy the harmony in society in a way.' That’s my new shout at fat people. You are killing the harmony in the community ffs. Sort it out. And also this bit… ‘To help combat obesity, the Japanese government broadcasts an exercise class every morning, and it's the law that workers across the country pause to work out together.’ I can just see me at work saying ‘come on chubbs, out your seat and give me 10 or I’m ringing the bizzies.’
