Divin Mubama turned down a contract a few weeks ago at West Ham so could get him on the cheap as out of contract in the summer

The silence is deafening, they are very good at keeping our targets in house.

Seems that Patterson is in demand, how would you feel if we were to let him go if the money was good ?

Good shot stopper but doesn't command his 6 yard box, it must be my age but back in the day a keeper would try to boss his area and relieve the pressure. It's like a pinball game at times when the ball comes into the box .

I think if we got £10million plus for Patto we’d have to.

Academy graduate as well so absolutely blows a hole in FFP space.

Keepers are replaceable (I know we have had some **** here mind)

I wouldn’t be too bothered on Patterson leaving, as long as Bass or Bishop aren’t the twatting answer
Ooh nearly a phrase about bassing the bishop in there.

2 poor signings. Neither capable of challenging Patterson. He knows he won’t be dropped.

I'd like to see up bring in an experienced back up to a) push Patterson for his place, but also b) to pass on some wisdom

Sunderland are targeting Leicester City defender Luke Thomas to strengthen their ailing left-back position, Sunderland Nation can exclusively reveal.

Thomas would be ideal for us at this point.

Not sure where this comes from....overall, the lad's been excellent for us. He reminds me a bit of Montgomery......great at close in saves, not so much decision making from further out. Mind you, playing out from the back wasn't an option in Monty's day.

Not denying that mate, I just think he would be a bit more replaceable than all of our other saleable assets

Him being allowed to leave at the beginning of the season just shows how strong Leicester’s full back options are. Quality for this level.

Thomas be ideal for right now and straight in the team.

Ali & Ballard CB with Thomas and Hume looks decent to me.
