My son Niall enjoyed the Ipswich game, he's nearly 15. Matthew 18.3 comes to mind...

‭‭And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

    https://matthew.bible/matthew-18-3

We, along with a dozen family and friends will be renewing...

    Hhhaaawwwwaaaaayyyyyyy the lads

I’ll be renewing, as will my old man and the missus wants a season ticket aswell now. I support my club, not the league it’s in. There through thick and thin regardless of how good or bad things may be.

Ah ok. People need to read the T&Cs of their Season Cards before they start moaning

Agree. We have ST in the North Stand and I don't feel we were "evicted", only moved as per T&C's.
Why was there not this much fuss when we played other teams and the club only opened the East Stand section by section, which affected ST holders from all the rest of the ground:emoticon-0112-wonde

Had to give up my season ticket a while back for work commitments, Get to around 8-12 games a season, if Moyes, Grayson, Coleman, parky didn’t finish me off Nout will, there Friday and that match day buzz never fizzles away no matter what state the clubs in

Big part of it for me as well mate. Kids, jobs, mortgages don’t half reduce social time.

Then after being ‘professional’ all week being acceptable to sing Elvis badly and scream a bit is a release and a joy.

I still buzz off the walk to the stadium the same way I did walking to Roker Park as a kid. It’s about the only time I get butterflies now.

I just live the tribalism of a football crowd. The way you look around and see folk different ages, different stages of life and backgrounds but all there for one thing.

For me money will never take this element away from us. It’s a beautiful thing. A rousing chorus of ‘Wise Men Say’ often kicks my emotions right in the bollocks and I love that feeling and always will.

The social side hits the nail on the head for me too. That said, I can’t remember the last home game that I managed to get in the pub before the game due to early bastard kick offs

Just renewed and - credit where it is due - it was a painless process. I am also now able to end my any extra spend (other than my tickets) embargo, as they are doing ground improvements, which seemed to show the start of joined up thinking as that announcement and the season ticket one seemed to have been carefully planned. Let’s hope the supporters meeting minutes are encouraging and I may go crazy with my debit card next home game!

Renewed mine but said on another thread I've used DD for years. Others got an e mail saying didn't need to do anything. I had to log in, select which bank account then, i had to confirm it. However last season my 3rd DD got an e mail a week later saying they were restricting access even though money was in the whole time. Got in touch with ticket office and payment had gone through as normal. Anyways its all sorted.

Bumped in to one of my wife’s old friends who couldn’t wait to tell me that she was getting her very first season ticket I have never seen anyone so thrilled as she is in her early sixties - never mind her , I was absolutely thrilled for her .
