Completely agree, but we need to buy some quality players that are going to be with us on the journey. The only Acun signings that are at that level are Philogene, Tufan, and Seri. (Potentially Connolly) There’s been 22 permanent transfers since Acun took over, and only 3 are at the level we need. I’ve said it before but our recruitment is poor. Nearly £20 million spent on transfers since Acun took over. That’s not including the fees wasted on Pelkas, Vale, Ebiowei, Salah M’hand.
if they are low quality shots then our back four should be stopping them - they're not and that is the problem - the only stats that matter are goals for and goals against - our goals for is top half and our goals against is bottom half - for instance both goals against Norwich were defensive problems not the keeper

Or us. We have to have agreed to cancel the loan for this to happen. I do suspect the availability and capture of Carvalho could have a big part to play in it.
If that was the case surely we’d tell them “we’re entitled to keep him and that’s what we’re going to do, you bunch of ****ers” Tit for tat
Yeah, but you've got to expect 1 or 2 not to work out. Stop being so damn negative. Do you even have a glass? ....
As I said earlier, the club really hasn't been hugely impressed by him and think there's better options for the outlay..... They want a player that's very good as opposed to just okay. Bristol coming in gave us an easy get out. I'm not sure it's a coincidence that once the Bristol stuff was gathering pace, he was played less and taken off in games etc.
was expecting a lot more from Twine - he's been a massive disappointment - really can't remember him taking any game by the scruff of the neck and making a difference
Sorry but it’s as much on the keeper as well if the chances are low quality. Yes the defence gives up some chances but there’s been more than a fair share Allsop could do something about
Perhaps we're getting another one of their players (a more natural winger perhaps) and as a result they knew Twine wouldn't play as much. That way all parties are winners. Or maybe not. Who knows?
Attacking midfielder Scott Twine has been recalled from his loan spell by parent club Burnley. The 24-year-old made 26 appearances for the Tigers, including 21 starts, and scored goals against Rotherham United, Watford, Cardiff City – a trademark free-kick – and Sheffield Wednesday. We would like to thank Scott for his efforts during his time at the MKM Stadium and wish him well for the future.
