I have been away for the weekend and only saw the game this morning, the Sky studio of Neville and Redknapp were both talking up Spurs, this is something that I am uneasy with as it's never happened before
I mean two weeks is technically the shortest amount of time this season where we haven't watched him play...
Something massively sinister with him. Really wouldn’t be surprised if a dark story about him came out.
The BBC match report is very much about ManU rather than us (apparently we had *three* players missing), and a bit of TalkShite I heard on the way to work was all about the failings of United in the match and didn't mention us once, let alone that we might have had something to do with it. The United domination of the media is quite tiresome, particularly in the tired trope of United being in apparently a continual rebuilding process (which has taken 10 years so far it seems), while Ange doesn't seem to get credit for our rebuilding which took about two games.
Why bother with what they say ?? They don't affect the on-pitch performances or the club revenues, so I don't care.
I’d much rather we get spoken about as little as possible in the media to be honest. For a start I never give a **** about outside opinion of us anyway but also the less said about us, the more likely it might keep the vultures away. I think, similarly with Poch, we’ve potentially hit jackpot with Ange. If he keeps being praised in the media then it won’t be long until one of Europe’s elite has an opening for their managerial spot and come sniffing around. Would love to see an end game project under Ange in the next 3 or so years.
It's safe to presume that he's dicking over everyone else on The United Stand on money TBH wouldn't be surprised if he tired the old "I draw the same salary as everyone else!" trick while he's the only one pocketing the merchandise and sponsorship money, which is why so many of the Epic Meal Time crew not named Harley Morenstein jumped ship year ago
Those clubs don''t consume "pundit" or press hack content to be aware of which players and managers are on the rise elsewhere.
We did. And another three. And another three. And... Players missing yesterday: Son, Kulusevski, Maddison, Lo Celso, Perisic, Solomon, Davies, Scarlett, Veliz, Bissouma, Sarr. Did I miss anyone?
So only the 12 players missing, then? Plus a few illnesses and a couple just back on the day. They were without Slabhead though, to be fair.
The MOTD 2 analysis, was proceeded by Chappers (a known Manc, but generally a decent presenter), stating that they had criticised United a lot this season so they should be focussed on the positives which they saw as the performances of Dalot, Wan Bissaka and Mainoo, we didn't really get a mention.
