Poor defending cost us two goals, poor attacking choices have cost us 3 or 4 clear chances. They are there for the taking but we don't look like we have the players needed to do it.
I don’t really see the view as it being a free hit. To me it’s just a silly transfer that brings us next to nothing for the next 6 months. We had 2 years of seeing what he could do in the Prem, it wasn’t pretty and then at Leipzig he’s barely gotten off the bench this season… I mean how many red flags does a player need for a club to finally avoid them?

I didn’t understand why we signed Werner, but as others pointed out, it was worth a punt and probably the best we could do in this window. but he’s not played in an Ange system, and hasn’t got many minutes under his belt recently, so let’s give him longer than 45 mins before we make our minds up. let’s not forget that Vicario was utterly terrifying in his first game, and has gone on to be brilliant. Johnson on the other hand, needs to up his game. He’s had plenty of game time, and is currently looking like a **** Aaron Lennon.

Richy is in good form but we’re missing the cutting edge and creativity that you’d expect us to be missing with Kulu and Son out and both 10s also unavailable. Going to need to brute force this one in the second half. Set pieces look very threatening.
