    Pretty much bang on yeah.

So this won't affect whether our RW is a transfer or loan deal.

Although if it is a loan we will have to be careful with matchday squads due to THB, Downes, Fraser, Holgate and now Rothwell, we already have 5 loan players.

Shouldnt be a major issue though as both Rothwell and Holgate are fringe players so won't feature in every squad unless we have injuries.

Yeah, it wouldn't be a concern of mine either. Certainly it shouldn't make us afraid of loaning in a RW this month.

Even with our current four loan players, Holgate wouldn't get on my bench if we were ever in a position where everyone was fit and available (no need to have him, Stephens and Bree all on the bench together).

Which probably explains all the talk about that loan being cancelled. Realistically we need 4 CBs but we aren’t a club that can easily sign someone with the offer of 3rd or 4th choice CB. Unless they can challenge for games at RB, LB or DM. And unless you are in an Arteta or Pep team with the whole defence being CBs all three of those positions are specialised in their own way now

He has to be worth £80 million plus the £20 million January transfer premium.

End of the sale then fair enough. It would be a good move for him and we eould get a good fee for a player that could leave for free in a season. He also stayed when every other ****er left so it would be fair enough.

But if we sold now, unless it was an absolutely mental offer, then that would be a monumental f*ck up.

KWP for me has been the model professional since he came here on loan. I really enjoy watching him play and even when things may not always go right, he never seems to be miserable or moody. I'd like to see him stay and if we do get promoted then he may want to stay, because as some other of our previous stars have found out, their light is pretty quickly extinguished by moving elsewhere.

How can Chelsea keep on spending?!? I really hope that when he does go (please not this January), that he goes to better club. Yes Chelsea are big and rich and he’d make lots of money, but it’s not exactly been a good place to go and shine in recent years. He deserves better than that shambles of a club.

Maybe I’m forgetting players, but KWP has become a very strong candidate for my all time saints xi

KWP needs to consider where he will be when Reece James comes back from injury, albeit a distance away.
Would hate him to leave in this window.

I think KWP should do a Harry Kane and go abroad. He strikes me as someone who would like a real change, in team and culture. Not just motivated by money.

As we all know, he’s far too good for the championship to be honest. I think he is good enough to play European football, let alone championship.

Deserves to be playing at a much higher level. If he does go, I hold no anger at him. He has given his all here and been a top, top professional.

I would love him to stay, but I was resigned to losing him in the summer and this last half season has been a bonus.

.. and if he does stay and take us back up then he will achieve legend status for me
