As the pressure starts to increase on manger Phil Brown, the Tango man takes his side to Southend for an FA Cup replay. There should have been no need for the replay as we should have won comfortably in the first match but we didn't. Personally feel that if we fail to win tomorrow ir Saturday then it will be time to say goodbye to the man. Mellor will start tomorrow hopefully his aim will be better than Saturday but we still have to beat the impressive Luke Daniels in the Southend goal. Southend are top and can't be as bad as they were last week, a win is a must for the Whites as we stumble on from game to game.
Another game another defeat, that's one cup less that we are in. Sky described the 2nd half performance as lacklustre. Mr Brown that's 12 without a win, there will be a large travelling support at Gigg Lane on Saturday anything less than a win will not be good enough. Well done the 161 who travelled you really do deserve better.
Sorry to see this board so depressed, as there's always good banter on here, but are you absolutely certain getting rid of Brown's going to do the trick? Be careful what you wish for...
Down to the bare bones at the moment Tewks, replacement forward was a 16yr old, it's a result game and we are not getting any at the moment
Strewth - didn't realise there was a numbers problem as well. Not really the position to introduce a 16-year-old is it? BTW, haven't seen The Flying Plumber post in a while - hope he's OK.
Good luck @ Bury hope you get a good win . I hope PB isn't blaming the players in public every week I think he had a negative effect at Hull City doing that week after week . Best to keep it in the dressing room .
