Been pondering posting this for a couple of weeks. Time to do so.

This has nothing to do with coaching. We have been left with a squad not good enough for the ambition. I know most think the coach is the problem. In my humble opinion that is not true. I am not picking on Adil, but in 20 minutes we see how little the new young lads can be trusted. Next season will be different for players like him. Take Mayenda, Hemir, Adil, Burstow etc and none are at the level of top 6 championship at this stage. They are technically good, with a bright future, but in mens football you need a brain and maturity. I dont blame a coach for not picking them to be honest. Last year we had Michut in and he was miles ahead of Adil, or the other young lads in terms of readiness. Recruitment has weakened what we had last season, sadly. We may reap dividends next season, but wont this year.

Big 2 weeks ahead if we want to compete. We are at least 3 players short. That bench today was uninspiring to say the least. With the exception of Rusyn I wouldnt be clammering for any of them.

Hate to say it but a coach needs the tools to be effective. We are short, in my opinion, in the midfield and striker positions, sorely so. Over to the club to fix the mistakes made between last season and this. And I do not mean another blame shift onto a coach.

Our clubs being run exactly the same as teams like Peterborough are. Well known for producing young talent and then selling them on for a good fee..... repeat.

We're just doing it at a higher level and its not how i like or want my club to be run. Im sick of hearing about this so called model we have, its becoming cringeworthy hearing it and embarrassing.
Heres an idea. Lets try creating a model where we have a striker on the pitch for longer than 10 minutes a game, or a model that allows us to have an experienced CM in the middle and not 2 lads under 23, one of which is plaing his first full season in first team football.

This was the situation we were in last season when we lost Evans, Stewart and Simms and weve done feck all about it, we relied so much on Amad last season and he wasnt even our player.

For a club that generates 40k fans at home we deserve so much better, and im sick to death of hearing that its all part of the fecking plan.

    We are garbage to watch.

Slow, very little movement, no focal point up front.

Both are not good enough. Recruitment was called out at the time.

I wouldn't trust Beale with a remote let alone a team full of young, exciting players

    My only disagreement is:

The coach is tasked with a job and compensated for it. Find a way to utilise what we have, in anyway possible, to achieve the outlined goals.

Mowbray was getting much much more. That's only in the small sample too. I think over the season Beale will drive attendances down.

We are slow, boring and poor at the back.

I just don’t think our players are as good as we think. Adil, awful miss and was **** , Ballard, Neil, Pritch and Clarke (today Ba) all decent and a couple of others but misplaced passes, lack of urgency, risks at the back all players faults once they cross the white line.
I’m not a Beale fanboy but the players need to look at themselves as well . They were **** under TM for most of his last 2 months.

Jones saying there we need a dominant CB instead of O’nien and a 9. Wish he’d take them f*cking blinkers off.

well that was hard to watch, going to have to pull some rabbits out the bag the next couple of weeks,

it was the right time to get rid of mowbray, if your moving up a gear, still early but looks like we are stuck in reverse. what a couple of weeks this has been like to proper take the sting out of the club

Yet you battered Mowbray every week for not being good enough?

And yet we booted Mowbray. Case of careful what you wish for in my opinion. Lets be clear, if Beale goes now we are a laughing stock and nobody with anything going for them comes here. The view inside of football of our sacking of Mowbray is grim. Beale goes then we will be lucky to get Ainsworth tbh. Coaches arent some short term commodity that can be thrown out on a whim. If you do it, you need a plan. We had none.

Classic case of grass is greener. Rooney at Birmingham is another great example.

There’s no plan mate, ****ing winging it.

We haven’t made bank off a player yet so if there is a plan it’s royally ****ed on and off the park.

If the plan is sell Clarke then say ‘we made a few quid, look’ then we finish 12th then the plan is fundamentally ****e.

Like you say 40k every game we aren’t ****ing Southampton or Brighton.

Soneone needs to understand the club and realise the way to maximise its potential and revenue is to give us a proper team and we will back it to the hilt and it will make money that way.

Take out one half off the Preston game and we are ****ing dire and we are regressing at such a rate.

We have a decent squad I’m not buying that it’s just the squad and the managers are all poor. Ipswich’ squad is made up of players who’ve never played above this level. The issue is that we have next to no experience in that team at a decent level Pritchard is the only one.

We’re crying out for a better CB, a DM and a 9. And they need experience at a decent level.
