Not to mention the fact Chaplin is also about 5 foot 4.

Even Charlie would have scored against our defence today

Possibly but our coaches strategy and team selection is asking for trouble

We’ve created very little since he was appointed. Sky showed the stats before the game since he came in and our xG went from 1.7 to 1 which is worrying considering the opposition we’ve played since he came in

Im the same mate, i am one of the most positive sunderland fans youll ever meet but i cant tell you how deflated i was when beale came in

Beale is a great coach, players enjoy working with him (directly from a rangers player), but he doesnt have great man management skills n his tactically changes are nonexistent

I want to be wrong so much but with each game i get more concerned

The 1st half was good today so beale did get his starting line up right however 2md half was shocking n we were poor n he did nothing

Careful youl be hounded for comments like that.

But it's accurate. But for me he won't see the season. Players won't last with him and in in game management is the worst I have ever seen.

can’t see Speakman sacking him this season. Would be admitting his own mistake and I don’t think he does that.

How many times do we get to the edge of the opposition's box only to then end up back at Patterson within 5 or 6 passes. We literally have zero goal threat when we are in possession. Ipswich created a few good chances with 3 or 4 passes in and around the box as they have players willing to actually enter the box we don't. Alese got clean in down the left twice and both times he had to wait ages for support even then having to pass to the edge of the box. Unless we score a screamer or from a piece of magic from Clarke I just don't see us scoring. Can't remember the last scruffy goal we scored. Maybe Bellingham v Leeds but since then we've conceded about 6 or 7 of them.

You do almost believe that he’s told to play the ones who are most likely to rise in value.

I don’t believe it but I can see the conspiracy theory basis.

You’d think in reality the 3 likely to be hugest valued are Jobe, Clarke & Ballard, and any of those 3 could bang his missus live on Sky and they’d still play.

I've always been an advocate of giving managers as much time as possible.

However, it's clear even this early on that he's not going to change anything.

Take the hit, admit the mistake and sack him. I'm not kidding.

Out of his depth. Shouldn't have been appointed. We've got some good players but youth coaches trying to manage them.

Speakman should stick to player recruitment with Harvey and keep out of who is the manager/coaching team. We need a proper director of football If that's the road they want to go down.

    Well he should.

He is on thin ice too.

    2 years no suitable striker.
    The Neil issue
    The mobeway issue
    The Beale appointment.
The summer recruitment leaving us with the same team as last year.

    Bad year for him.

Terrible second half. They were there for the taking. We could of course have been saying what a substitution if Adil hadn’t blown his lines but we could also be saying well done for picking Ba if he’d rightly been on the field. Our most productive attacking player, forcing back a very good left back - taken off.
    Big questions to be asked.
Jobe. Why did Pritchard leave ahead of him. This needs sorting. You can’t have preferential treatment.
Ba- I wouldn’t have picked him but he proved me wrong so why this change ?
CDM. Ekwah stylish on the ball but leaves us vulnerable. Why didn’t we sign one.
Defence. A mess today. Why the sudden indecision.
They need to get busy this week and the first game where I think Beale looked out of his depth.

They really need to nail January however i mentioned to my dad that the last 2 windows have been poor imo. I dont mean the players we have signed are poor as we have some cracking young players but we need more of the younger players that we sign, to be championship ready

Agree. Zero benefits in keeping him.

    Just site irreversible differences.

Starting to believe Jobe has something in his contract that if he doesn't maintain a certain percentage of starts a clause is triggered where is can leave for a certain fee.

Not sure why Ba was taking off he was doing sound. Needless free kick given away too it was going out. Gutted thought we were good enough for the draw.

Yeah but Ipswich missed plenty of sitters too we can’t say we deserved to win based on Adil missing that one chance. We can all see which players need changing so why can’t Beale and chooses to change the ones who are playing well and doing their job

Yep. That has been the main issue for a while.

Model needs to flex and young players need not start always to fit the model and piss the head coach off.

We dont get players in the box anymore thats the biggest issue, last season we would have 5 or 6 players in attacking positions now we have 2 or 3 tops
