If Munich were in for Dragusin in the summer,
they would have signed him no questions asked.

So obviously for them he was currently an
"would be advantageous - though not essential" .

Time will tell as to whether the timing of the
window has been massive good fortune for Spurs.
As I (think I) said a few days ago, Bayern essentially looked at him to cover for four or five games when Kim Min-jae is at the Asian Cup

Which wouldn't even be an issue if Tuchel wasn't a weirdo who decided to bench de Ligt indefinitely

Well you did ask for it...

Non-credible sources (hell, sources I can't recall hearing of before if I'm totally honest) are linking us with Wolves' Joao Gomes

...that would be the Joao Gomes who we could've signed for €18.7m this time last year (as that's what Wolves paid Flamengo for him) but is surely going to cost us at least £50m given his contract is until 2028, and the odds of Wolves selling him this January are practically nil - so to put it another way, Conor Gallagher is a more likely move this month

Stacked for CB and the eldest is 25.

I'd still like to see us bring in another centre-half and loan Dorrington out, to be honest.
I think he'd benefit from regular football more than being included in squads.
A Lenglet-esque loan could be the best plan.

I’d love a Gallas or a Naybet type for 18 months. Experienced heads who can marshal, instruct and advise this lot would be great.

Old hands doing that IMHO have to be driven by the
desire to show they are not done yet. The likes of
Davids and Gallas did not come to Spurs for the money.

I think a lot of older heads that come to the Premier League generally do so to still prove they have it to be fair and not pick up pension money, that’s for the Saudi/ MLS moves. Llorente was another that was really good for us when given the chances too. I don’t know who’s out there at the moment that’d be another Gallas for us but I think it’d be really beneficial if we could find one and then as PNP said we can get Dorrington out on loan then.

Problem is Ange will never, ever play them. I couldn't even see him bringing them on as subs.

Wouldn’t necessarily have to. As long as they were there for when needed that’s fine. They’ve had their career already and they’d be an insurance policy with the added bonus of passing knowledge and experience but to marshal the defence if/ when they did play.

What I don’t want is more situations where two FBs are playing at CB and promising young players in those spots still aren’t getting a look-in. They don’t benefit and neither do we long term if we have high hopes for them.
