Morton - did not deserve to be on the losing side . Some lovely passes and a great goal. Slater - worked his socks off , tackled and passed well . Greaves - tackled and blocked well , did well going forward . Grrr the ref was crap . Not our night . Come on City
Morton Twine Carvalho Thought those three looked the most likely to make something happen. Honourables for Tufan and Jacob. We need to get more shots on target and get good crosses in quicker before the defense are set (otherwise stop doing them). Even when we advance quickly it all seems to grind to a halt at the edge of the box. It's like they're not quite sure what to do sometimes. Floating crosses in is definitely not our strong point. I've said before, the longer it takes for that ball to come in the more perfect it has to be. We're also lacking someone running into the box at pace in these moments. Everyone's just stood still, marked up waiting for it. Someone has to arrive with momentum to make the defenders think or create a little space. We also need to stop shipping soft goals too. I'd be tempted to give Tufan or even Greaves a go in the middle next to Morton. The only two players we currently have that I can't see getting ran straight through without at least a decent attempt of winning the ball in the middle. We stand off or get brushed aside so much that it's become painful.
Morton Slater Jacob I was a fan of Lokilo at the start of the season. The more I watch, the more I'm starting to feel the opposite. Also, how frustrating when it was 2-1 we just kept passing it along the back rather than getting it in the mixer?
Morton - Some player.... Tufan - Only second because Morton scored. Huge effort from him today. Slater - Good effort in Seri's absence. A special mention for the ref he was awful pitch isn't much better either.
Morton Carvalho Tufan I think Connolly had a great attitude and I believe he would have seen himself in this if their ‘masterplan’ hadn’t worked. F***ers.
1.Morton....decent shift. 2.Coyle.....for not twatting the little $hit won elbowed him.. 3.Jacob.....decent debut for the kid. Honourables. Jones, Greaves, Slater. Me for trying to prevent two alpha males from having a Barney Rubble in the East Stand
Greaves Morton Tufan Can't believe we didn't even get a point, the gunn save from slater is possibly the best save I've ever seen live
Morton for the goal I guess, but he didn’t impose himself enough Twine was good in the first half. Don’t understand why he was swapped over. Coyle - probably our best attacking outlet, which is a little worrying. Carvalho faded and was a bit meh, as was the whole performance.
Morton Carvalho Slater Baffled but unsurprised to see Tufan in some people's top 3. I thought he was embarrassing tonight. Pulling out of challenges, diving, trying to do his big run up and barge thing on Rowe but completely missing and watching him score. He drives me mad some weeks but he always seems to impress other people. Need to see that one in the first half back but he seemed to have beaten the man on the edge of the box, was in a great position to score or assist, and then inexplicably went down looking for a foul?
Twine Jacob Morton. Tufan would have been but should have blocked their first goal scorer before he got his shot away,
Allan McGregor from Oscar, 2013 against Chelsea maybe in front of the south stand? Deffo the best save I’ve seen live.
It’s comical you peddle this and have slater in there who tk me was exactly as described and extremely Footy and the opinions ay…
