    Really?
Greene King are still advertising it for someone to run it (go past occasionally and it’s been shut with a board up for a while)
    Hopefully it’s back permanently

I mean, watching this you can see he has talent, but you can also see him getting cleaned out by Polish Third Tier defenders. He'll be a top player, but I can't for a second see him coming here to play this season. If he does, I'll personally be flying to Finland, sans jacket once more.

It would 100% be a development signing, but still exciting nonetheless. The club are planning for the long term and I think it’s great

Bit of a strange comparison, didn't Samuelsson come into the first team picture?

Yes, he debuted mere days after signing, so bit of a random player to pluck out!

?? he was signed at 22 and as a first team player. He was just **** because he was cheap and we were cheap.

Not even close to scouting Europe for top 17 year old talents

Bowen was 18 from non league. Better comparison to this young polish kid.

We signed samuelson from West ham at 22 and he'd had a couple of first team loans by then.

Was he? He was just one of a number of random signings we made at the time. Same as James Scott, same as Festus Arthur, etc.

Haugesund. 77 appearances, 11 goals and 8 assists. Which, for a winger, is pretty ****.

I remember that Acun flew into the home game on Boxing Day as he usually does, but his plane set off from Wroclaw airport in Poland. Did Acun bring Karol and his family over to watch the game and see the stadium?

I managed to find an article in the HDM confirming that Acun brought some guests over from Poland to the game.

Anyone having trouble pronouncing that, phonetically it would be ‘Shlonsk Vrotswaf’ in English.

Carvalho and the keeper? Or a surprise thrown in as well?

The attacking midfield/#10 thing is interesting because if all goes well, we’ll have Carvalho, Tufan, Twine and Traoré (after AFCON) in that position. However, in the summer, we could be left with just Tufan. Carvalho will most definitely be going back to Liverpool. Twine going back to Burnley is 50/50 and I don’t think we’ll extend Traoré’s contract.

One player I do like for that position is Berkay Özcan at Başakşehir. With all these loan players, we’re probably going to have something of a rebuild in the summer.

Christie, Traoré, Woods, Longman, Allahyar, Sinik, Docherty and possibly Ingram will probably be gone if not in January then the summer. Morton, Carvalho and Vinagre will all go back to their parent clubs. Like I said, Twine is 50/50 and Delap would be a great signing permanently but it’s a matter of cost. Signing Pandur as a permanent first-choice keeper is a really smart bit of business this January. A quality left-back this January too would be great too. In the summer, we’re probably going to need a new right-back, defensive midfielder/central midfielder, a couple more wingers and a #10 at the least but it’s all conditional on which division we’re in.
