Anthony Scully is sent to the turf under pressure from Tom Pett, but again the referee thinks it's a dive and books the Pompey player. 90 + 4 minutes.

Not looking great ATM. Why does this always happen? Hopefully this poor form ends sooner rather than later. Considering how we destroyed Bolton just a few weeks ago, I don't get how the team can implode so rapidly
I have been 'missing from action' for the last few weeks (on a cruise round New Zealand) but back to the daily grind now. The results plus Robbo's injury have been a real 'downer.' We have failed to get back on level terms in games we were consistently scoring late goals in earlier in the season. However, it is not all negative. In earlier games we seemed to create few chances despite favorable possession statistics. In the last couple of games we have been missing relatively clear cut chances - but at least we have started creating more chances! I thought Whyte had a reasonable game in the no 10 role on Saturday and is possibly our best immediate option in that position. I would also like to see Tom Lowry competing for it soon if his fitness is improving. Moving Kamara to No 10 and bringing Scully in on the wing is another option but I would be relucent to disturb the current wing pairing which seems to be going well. We have played well in most games. Earlier we combined playing well with a bit of luck here and there. We are still playing well but the bit of luck has deserted us. We are not good enough to be run away winners of the league but we are good enough to be strong contenders for a top three position if we maintain the effort. PUP
