I've just been browsing some youtube clips on the 1Malaysia Cardiff City campaign and was quite surprised to discover film of Malaysian dignitaries and even the national team attired in the same colours as this seasons third choice kit colours. As the national strip is manufactured by Nike it was clear why the design was different but the concept the same.

I understand the Malaysian national squad are known as the Tigers of the South East Asian football world.

Having the name of another nation emblazoned on our kit must be confusing to casual football followers, though it's something I can live with.Having a third kit remarkably like the Malasian national strip complete with Malaysia across the chest makes me wonder how far the Malaysian theme may eventually extend.

    Cardiff City Tigers anyone?

    What's your thoughts people?

tbh, I prefer that kit in the vid to the one we've got at the moment... Swap Shop anyone?
I've got used to the Malaysia logo and I guess they can push Malaysia as far as they like but PLEEEEEEEEASE... leave the name alone.
Didn't SAM have ideas about changing the name and introducing an awful green kit at one point? <wah>

EDIT: I just noticed Malaysian No2 is on his way for a 3 week trial

Anything that helps with the Malaysian connection is bound to help, draw the line at changing the name though <ok>
