Women like this do so much damage. The reason genuine victims rarely get to trial and get justice is because of absolute scum like this that make people doubt every claim. It’s a **** world and the lads tarred with that for ever. They were in a ‘**** buddies’ relationship for years? How did this get to trial. They need to start locking these types up for a long time
Nine females and only three males on the Jury !!!!!!! Yes he was cleared.....however, when we all talk about equality and fairness, we now have folk asking if this Jury selection was pre-loaded. To me he is free to get on with his life.......and does the female get named now?... And wil she be frowned upon...etc? FFS....life can be so sad, can;t it?
There are thousands of actual rapes, with better evidence, the police never bother to prosecute ... ... this was a total and obvious waste of time before it went to court. 'Yes I went on a dating site, travelled to a strangers house, stripped off and got into bed with him but I'm on medication that means I can't have sex.' He should sue her for false advertising.
Seeing the level of evidence in this case there was no chance of him being convicted, hope he gets his life back on track.
I thought it was nailed on he would get a not guilty once the police doctors report was presented as evidence.
I hope for her sake the rape never happened, but she's put herself in an awful situation. Hopefully they can both move on from it all.
If a bloke is accused of rape, he should not be named until found guilty. The fact the Jury believed him and not the woman means she is a liar. Won't be named though and will just get on with her life. He will struggle to find work as a footballer again as "there is no smoke without fire" in some people's minds.
Man invites woman to his house for a shag for the umpteenth time. Woman jumps into his bed with nowt on. Even if then there were a turn of events where he did in fact end up raping her, how the hell was it going to be proven in court?
Feel sorry for the young folk of today. You'd be scared to have a drunken one night stand. How many times have both woke up in the same bed with little no recollection of events?

There should be an investigation as to why this was ever brought to court. My mate is a retired copper and he requested and read through the evidence in the Ched Evan’s case, and said that it should never have gone to court. He was eventually proved right given that the appeal succeeded and there was more evidence on the prosecution side than in Jacks case. Makes you wonder.
Give them the sentence that the rapist would have been given has always been my shout. Dirty bastards.
I spent around 15 years looking after Riviera properties with large swimming pools and endless guests. I'd avoid the pool areas and let Mrs Smug deal with any issues. It would be so easy for one of the half naked young girls to say 'Mr Smug looked at my breasts' and there'd be an issue. Then you'd get the tedious old 'no smoke without fire' shyte and you'd have to start making denials which would probably sound fake. It's a minefield.

Personally don’t think we should go mad about women. I’m sure he’s relieved but we don’t know the full story and there are a lot of maybes. I’m sure both feel sad and angry tonight.
