Amad surely starts for United tonight against Wigan. Good performance and he's in the starting 11 for next league game
Playing against Wigan is a different kettle of fish to the Prem mind. I think they’ll persist with Antony because there’s still talk of Diallo going out on loan (fingers crossed) so he can’t be that involved in ETH plans. Doesn’t Pellestri play on the right too I’m sure he normally gets a sniff off the bench occasionally
Just hope we’re in for either him or santos because both Travis and Carvalho are joining teams I expect to be in and around us come the end of the season and both would fit into our midfield yet haven’t read anywhere we were after either
Not really. It got them promoted yes but then look at how they had to recruit as soon as they went up. Forest barely stayed up last season and Burnley look doomed to go down. 3 loans max is the only way to go otherwise you are in a constant cycle of looking trying to replace loans. Look at how much we miss Amad, now imagine that but x5
Doesn't really matter. A lot of clubs in the PL aren't exactly flush with cash because expenses are sky high and Forest are in big bother with FFP.
Because they have overspent, thats their problem, if we can get 3 loan players in to get promoted it makes sense from every angle
We weren't just linked, we'd practically signed him in August before issues with third party ownership came to light. I know loads of people are on a downer at the club at the moment but it can't be denied that we clearly have a cracking eye for a player now. It's no mean feat to spot prospects in South America 6 months before Benfica show an interest.
Must be just when you go up from League 1 and their Sustainability rules to the championship then. Mind you Forest have signed 421 players so no surprises they are up against FFP
Just looking into it now, spent double their income in their last 2 championship seasons and then have spent over 300m on transfer fees alone before even mentioning wages, while only bringing in around 65m in their first 2 seasons in the PL. These are the kind of clubs we are up against.
Is that not the impatience of getting to the Premier League? If we do it slowly over the course of the next 2 years with little outlay, we'll be in a position to spend reasonably big when we're in the Premier league without breaking ffp?
We need to sell a big hitter and start buying known quality with it instead of these cheap players with potential. This squad are probably about at their peak now for where they can take us. We need extra to go to that next level of being seen as one of the few sides that will be expected to challenge for the league title.
