Shame it’s not like that most weeks! Was 10 deep in chaplins, never normally wait longer than a minute or two for a pint.

Got home late last night after having enjoyed a great day on Saturday, except for the result of course. I haven't had time to read all through the thread but for my part I thought the atmosphere was electric. Because of my location I mostly get to away games, it felt more like an away game, in that the support around me on Saturday was immense, constant singing, chanting, cheering and clapping, until the end, just like every away game I've been to.

We were beaten by the better team, no doubt about that, unfortunately a lot of our lads had an off day which didn't help, maybe the occasion got to them? Regarding subs, a few of us were talking about that, but none of us could really see any making a difference, though Ba did put on a show for the few minutes he had on the pitch. I feel sorry for Ballard who put in a great performance, despite the own goal and penalty, he was clearly upset and I think was the first of our players to leave the pitch at the end.

Got to say this, it's my personal opinion anyone who leaves after we go two down, a couple of minutes into the second half, and says that they always leave when we're losing, is a poor excuse for a supporter. This group of lads, and most of them are youngsters, are the first squad for many years that genuinely seem to be playing for us, the shirt and the club, and for that they will get my full support, till the end of every game, winning or losing, they are putting the effort in and I will reciprocate, I would hope others would too.

A free pint to keep them calm inside the stadium and to prevent anything getting smashed?

That’s a good call by the club. It’s a free pint ffs, it’s no big deal.

Apparently the Scum where getting a bit rowdy about the lack of service when the machines went down so the call was made to serve them.

Sensible call from the club imo

You can't just be sacked, these days, unless you're responsible.

The club would be taken to the cleaners.

The rumour when we appointed that Bruce lad from the MLS was that he was SD's replacement and Sd would stay during the transition period.

Apparently the MLS Lad has had paternity leave so would kind of make sense for it to happen when hes back to work. Could all be bollocks though

Well "sacked" it a subjective term. The phrase "compromise agreement" is more common these days if the club and Davison decide he has no future there.

Done a couple of CAs in my time - hefty pay out to **** off and not come back :emoticon-0140-rofl:
