If Joe Gomez, or Endo, or VVD, scored 100 goals a season, you'd have to consider them the world's best player too.

Isn't he getting £1million a week at PSG (or were those incorrect rumours). Can't see why he would slum it at LFC for less than half his current wages. Although if he were £500kpw for 3 or 4 years, he'd probably cost less than a certain CDM that Chelsea poached from us over the summer who would have been over £100mill + wages. 4 years paying £500kpw is less than the signing fee in that instance... And he would have had to get wages too. We're not getting Mbappe, but if we could for £500kpw, he'd be less expensive than a deal we almost made for a lot less impressive of a player in summer.

I may be in the minority, but I've never got the mbappe thing. Yes he incredibly quick, but not particularly skillful. I can see why Paris pay him, being French and a bit of an icon. But I can't really see him going to another league and making a million pound a week difference to be honest. If you think of messi or Ronaldo at 25 they where tearing apart teams by themselves, I cant see mbop doing the same just because he's quick. Oh and he doesn't track back, tackle or, well actually anything other than rum like **** down the wing.
