Can't concentrate at work, I didn't think I'd get too worked up but as kick off draws closer I just want the lads to batter those bastards.

 

If someone is sacked for this please expect another round of headlines all across the media. Nothing like handing all the hacks another easy hit with a follow up story. And if someone is made a scape goat and take the club to tribunal it’ll be way worse. The club need to sort it out properly, we’re supposed to have a high flying Dreyfus family lawyer on the board.

 

Mags are making excuses about injuries and form in case we win or draw. Spineless bastards have played CL football this season and beat PSG but are now worried about this. The ****as won’t **** up if they bag a last minute winner or give us a thumping.
Give a good account of ourselves is all I ask, results can go either way regardless of who has the majority of the game.

I've said that for a while. Two inverted wingers, neither of them can cross a ball consistently well with their weaker foot so they invariably come inside and into traffic, resulting in the striker not getting the service they require.
It was brilliant last season when we didn't have a striker, but this season when we have a striker(s) we need to adapt and play to their strengths.

 

I’m expecting them to dominate the ball so our wingers should get more space

Hope Robert’s is fit for this one, he’ll turn Dan Burns inside out. With any luck Burns will have to revert to fouls and gets himself sent off.

At least Beale has experience of big derby’s with Rangers and Celtic, hope this helps fire our lads up. And I agree that he is doing well up to now.

Interestingly my mate at work reckons it is the same with Newcastle, they have 2 wingers who constantly come inside and he says thats one of the biggest issues recently. I don't watch them to know if thats the case.

 

Big question with Roberts is do we risk him tomorrow and have him potentially missing league games?

Huge decision that and one I don't know the answer to.
