Yeah but I've promised my nipper a wembley visit so will have to deal with that at some point regardless. Plus that'd make it all the better if we lost
The politics stream is good, we have a strong midfield and a lot of options on the left. We only have two or three out and out right wingers though.
FAC UP Sunday: Aldershot v West Brom Just spotted this … Aldershot boss Tommy Widdrington: "We've got another terrific day to look forward to. How West Brom approach the game I don't know, but we'll get to watch them before we play them so we can have a game plan." Did you know? Tommy Widdrington, 52, played with Alan Shearer at Southampton. Widdrington's elder son, Kai, is a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing while his other son, Theo, plays for Aldershot
He lived a few houses down from me when he was at Southampton. I gave them one of my toys for Kai when he was born (I expect it went straight in the bin). He went from Southampton to Grimsby which shows how the team was not that great back then.
Listen to the ground There is movement all around There is something goin' down And I can feel it Cup fever, Cup fever We know how to do it Gimme that Cup fever, Cup fever We know how to show it
I love a good cup run. Expect a totally different team to be fielded though so might not be an easy win. We will win though
FFS. So we are now down to super sub and youth having arguably been one of our strongest positions. Edit: Imagine he would have been rested for Walsall anyway. He'll miss: Walsall (H) Sheff Wed (H) Swansea (A) Hull (H) and potentially Rotherham (A) Could be worse I suppose, but he has been pretty important in terms of goals and creating chances since he's been back in the team and Fraser has looked a shadow of the player he is starting compared to coming off the bench.
Hopefully we bring in a RW quickly, Armstrong can play wide left too, so for now at least it's manageable.
