For those interested … The Rambert Ballet’s “Peaky Blinders: Redemption of Thomas Shelby” is on BBC Four this evening from 9:00pm (and probably iPlayer for a while after too).
The best show of last year for me, so good we went back again to watch it, and looking forward to see it with all the cameras on it.
Ballet? **** that, interpretive modern dance and mime is where it’s at. As any fule kno.Did you say "Ballet'? You morphing in to Stan?

Current watching ‘Leave The World Behind’ on Netflix with Julia Roberts, Ethan Roberts and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Not sure why, though, as it’s boring as ****.
Cos he’s an absolute 100% ****. He’s my MP, in a town largely underwater and his last ‘live’ local activity was attending a Remembrance Day service in November. He has been selected by the local Tory party to stand again at the next election, presumably so the taxpayer can keep him in loose change for another few years for no work. I walk the dog past his local ‘office’ sometimes, never seen anyone in there, let alone working. How did Nadhim Zahawi manage to look like a poor actor when playing himself in the Post Office thing?
Just finished watching ' Fool Me Once ' on Netflix. I didn't want to watch it, but Mrs Nines thinks it's nice to lay on our sofas and watch something together ... occasionally. I thought it was a bit slow at first and the characters unlikeable, but as it moved on it became quite good and had a satisfactory climax. I more or less worked out the conclusion in the end. It's only eight episodes that you won't regret.
Good to know you had a satisfactory climax mate.
My daughter said I should watch this. I'll have to give it a go.
Just have to finish Ted Lasso … then was thinking of giving this a go. Cheers KiwiSlow horses

This is going very low brow, but read a few books while away...... First the ****e,,,,
The latest Jack Reacher novel, Better Off Dead written by Lee Child and his Son...... What a one dimensional pile of tosh still I'm sure it will transfer to the big screen well once the 5' 7" Tom Cruise plays the 6' 5" main character...... I don't get how these books are so popular unless earlier ones are better.
Next ripping yarns....
Not the most intellectually challenging but both Richard Osman's The Thursday Murder Club Series - The Man Who Died Twice and Robert Thorogood's The Marlow Murder Club, were both enjoyable in a pick up and put down sort of way, light hearted and entertaining...... could do much worse...
Saw first episode of Reacher on Amazon … thought the acting was a bit cringeworthy myself. But you’re right he’s a beastI like the Richard Osman books, good humoured fun read ideal for holiday.
Reacher is now on Amazon, with no Tom Cruise...guy who now plays him is a man mountain. It ain't great TV, but I've seen a lot worse.
