We know there's a 20 seater coach picking up from Peterlee Easington Seaham, they are not in bubble, I hope they pop into the town for a beer or two.
    A proper welcome awaits.

They’ll likely be in different coaches, their tickets are for a different section and cost a lot more.

Any Newcastle supporters deliberately travelling outside the bubble are daft imo.

The police will be primarily occupied with the bubble-boys so anyone openly acting up on the streets will be at risk. I've seen messages going around Shotton, Wingate, Peterlee, etc, and there's older lads who don't go much now, who are having a day in town on the piss. I doubt there's any big plan but it's a bit concerning that there'll be Sunderland lads in town with no intention of going to the game.

Jack Diamond's trial is ongoing at the moment and apparently Patterson may be getting called to give evidence as he was his housemate at the time of the alleged offence (which happened in the house) and "suggested a threesome". This is all from the BBC News article today so out in the public domain.

I just hope it doesn't distract the lad.

Any kind of assault on a woman is terrible and should be prosecuted imo.

But this is the first time I've bothered to look at this and it's as weak as piss tbh.

The woman has met a stranger online, gone to his house and got into bed with him, presumably naked, while under medication meaning she needs to avoid sex. She's then assaulted, but stays there, in bed, until Diamond starts touching her again.

She then concludes, simply because Diamond is texting, he's messaging a mate to arrange a threesome.

FFS, that's quite clever from someone stupid enough to get into a total strangers bed without telling anyone where she is.

I condemned Johnson and will do the same with Diamond if he's guilty but ffs ...

... what a world we're living in when a woman can't go to a strangers house for a cuddle, strip off and get into bed without expecting him to keep his hands off <doh>

I agree it looks very weak and more so something she's regretted and now calling wolf.
Guilty or not, it's probably ended his football career.

Not really, just that their bus departs from a different spot to the other buses.

I thought it was interesting that they don't get tickets allocated, but just have them handed out randomly as they leave the coach (I.e. all the people on each coach get in the same row).

Last time I went to sol on the Peterlee bus (Defoe 1-0) we were supposed to meet up with the buses coming from Newcastle, but we never. Just went straight to the ground.
Haven’t heard the Peterlee lads are making their own way there this time. Not spoken to any of them, but they won’t have tickets.

As someone born and brought up in Seaham, I find it horrible that there are coaches for them going through my hometown. Can't imagine why anyone would want to be associated with them.

all someone needs to is shout something with reason and common sense from the crowd to stop him in his tracks to trigger him, he looks like he'll be "woke" as ****.

one of the lads at work is a Newcastle fan and season ticket holder of nearly 30 years, so he isn't a 2 and a half year agoer, so you can have an actual conversation or debate with him without him blurting out "5-1" when he runs out of things to say other than "toon", "strawberry" "Shearer" or "wa doomed".... I'm kidding mate, anyway his bus slot it 8:30 am straight to the Sol where he must then wait until kickoff.

Aye, that’s right. They’re not giving tickets out till they get off the bus, so I don’t know where this rumours come from.

    Something stinks here.

Newcastle are the richest club in the world yet dark forces at the PL have conspired to place Brighton two points ahead of them.

Newcastle are currently 9th which is ridiculous when you think Sunderland finished 7th and weren't anywhere near being the richest club in the world.

Thankfully Saturday's game is governed by the FA so they can't conspire to let Sunderland win ...

... but what if the FA are in on it <whistle>
