from what I see he has the talent and the technical side to his game, but appears to lack decision making and can freeze when it’s time to have a shot on goal or find a man in a good position, something Jaden for instance has in spades. I think a loan for Vaughan would be perfect for all parties.
he’s got talent, just needs the experience. I personally wouldn’t mind seeing him getting minutes over Lokilo.
could be a confidence thing but with Lokilo and too an extent Vaughan (not as prevalent) they stand up defenders then don’t take them on, need to be willing to have a stab at getting past the man.
Said it yesterday, I'll say it again. The recent run of form, will have done nothing to enamour players being desperate to come and play the Hull City way. More the worry, those we are desperate to keep may think the same way.
If a player gets put off by us because of a bit of bad form I would say it’s not worth bringing them in.
It's less of a punt for a player now we're in 7th and a point off the playoffs than it was in the summer when we'd just finished 15th. Why won't folk just wait and see what the widow brings before excitedly and prematurely making grand predictions of doom?
I agree with you just more pointing out that players that make a decision of their career off a couple games in December wouldn’t be who we wanted anyway. Not that I think there’s many that do
If a player is in demand they'll go for what they see as the best opportunity. We're a stronger prospect now than in summer. I just don't understand the willingness to adopt that kind of flawed, baseless and overly gloomy narrative from the OP.
Vaughan played his way into first team contention at the back end of last season. If he gets a proper chance, and I think he should, he will have deserved it. And getting thrown into the stew pot team we out that delivers a dour performance against Brum at the weekend doesn’t count as a chance.
