Starting to really take to him. He can't shoot or pass long for **** though, he appears to have zero strength in his legs <laugh>

    oh here we go.

howe is convinced that his player who handles the ball then flops was fouled but jota ran a marathon and wasn't touched

lesson here is just pass it round these slow arsed defenders

    what's howe's issue.

tripper has been awful and livaramento is very good.

    their keeper was 9/10 tonight.

the rest of the side was their best imo especially after sending on almiron.

    howe is a spoofer.

Endo was a stop-gap signing, and as such he does his job. He's not great, and he's not terrible.
He gets stuck in and breaks up play, but he's a bit slow for the PL. If he just makes sure he lays the ball off before he gets caught in possession he'll be fine.

that is the fear. he gets turned alright but a really quick press on him scares me but he breaks up things well and gets in good places to do so.

Joe Linton should have seen red tonight, and also in the game at St James

Should have been two yellows for him tonight, and about six in the first game.

Carragher given the instruction to say there was zero contact.

The keeper hand pushes jotas leg to clip his other one.

He's 5 miles away from the ball.

Yard Dog is an arse. I wish after his spitting incident he would have been removed permanently.

3 big points there. Thought we played as well as we have done since the last international break (when I think we've been poor, yet getting results) but were utterly hapless in front of goal. Bit nervy after they equalised, but tell me this and no more - how does Foulinton stay on the pitch nowadays? That's two games that big yard dog has committed double-digit amounts of fouls against us this season, and he's got one yellow in total. And that Bruno spitebag is just as bad. Dirty, dirty team Newcastle are, so I'm glad we won't face them again until the Autumn. Isaak is mint though. :emoticon-0148-yes:

There was minimal contact, but I think it was enough to prevent him from getting round the ball to slot it in.
He did throw himself to the ground though, and I think I'd be miffed if it was given against us - but sod 'em, we deserved the win .
    Newks got off lightly.

    Great result.
Jota is brilliant at winning penalties.
What a pass from Macallister to Jota.
Glad Klopp found his wedding ring.

Cracking game, we’re really creating and playing some lovely stuff atm.

thought Diaz was very good, as was jones - hoped Nunez would be slotting some of those chances tonight after grabbing one vs Burnley, but he is a constant threat, never stops and provided a vital assist to get us on our way. I’m sure his luck will turn soon enough.

Went to the match tonight. It was fantastic.

I'm going to have to watch it again mind you. It was like the anfield I remember. More screaming, shouting and talking to the lad next to you than actually watching the match.

    Ref was a ****.

    Endo was outstanding.

    Crowd was astonishing.

Special shout out to the group of Japanese lads that could hardly speak english, but knew every song off by heart. Fantastic to see.

    God I'm tired.
