Was he? I picked up he blew the whistle straight away and put his hand straight in his pocket. Didn’t see what happened after, did he get the yellow out first then go back for the red?
The red card might be a blessing in disguise, because it'll force us to tighten up. We were second best even before the sending off, some quality signings can't come quick enough.
we're not going up this season. too inconsistent and too many loan players. we got up in 2008 thanks to goals from a loanee and a 39 year old. we need to take goal scorers up with us, otherwise it's like being in a rowing boat without oars.

Before the red card we were ****ing awful, why did Rosenior not go for it from the kick off, we always start as slow as ****, it gave them hope and they have got belief they will win
The ref didn’t go to his pocket straight after the tackle btw. He took several steps forward and hesitated then went to his pocket only after Windass and several other Wednesday players surrounded him. He was probably going to give a yellow but the Wednesday players influenced him.
I was going to compliment Sheffield Wednesday for some of their attacking play. Then they started cheating. One positive, Delap is now central! The game is not over. We have lots quality where we could surprise. We just need to get some shots at goal. 0 on target so far I think.
Yeah just seen that, the 2 second replay when it happened looked like he was putting his hand in his pocket at the same time he was blowing the whistle. Still gave the foul straight away and if he’s giving it as a reckless challenge it can’t be anything else but a red can it?
It's pretty obvious this ref was ****ing himself to sleep last night at the thought of giving a red card on live TV. He'll be sticking a finger up his bum hole tonight now he's actually done it.
