The ref blew the whistle and had his hand in his pocket before Morton had even started getting up. It was an instant decision, watch it back.
He was going to book Morton. The play-acting swayed the colour of the card. In hindsight, that’s not even a foul. Controlled not reckless and gets the ball first. Windass’ little tantrum to the ref also influenced the decision. I thought new rules were supposed to stamp out players trying to influence the ref with gestures?
And yet, if Rosey complained about that decision, he'd be punished and fined, while the ref would be back reffing next week, no consequences. Officiating at this level is so utterly broken.
