Happy New Year to all and let's hope the January sales produce some surprises. So a short trip to Essex this afternoon, let us hope the boys have not had too much pop. Matty Etherington is an old mate of mine, have known the family for many years and feel his job is on the line due to the run of bad results. Having only 2 wins since the 7th November, but have managed to score 5 goals in the last 3 games. They only need to score one more for 3 points. I could not bring myself to watch the last match and having seen the report, 24 shots on target and only 1 goal and against 10 men, POOR< POOR and VERYYYY POOOORRRRRRRRRRRRR. I could have seen a few cans of beer being thrown at the TV I will not be watching it again this afternoon due to the waste of beer. I saw a report from the Gaffer, he told the players before the match. JUST go out and do your own thing?????? so why are we paying a wage to the Gaffer. We are in a better place than this time last year, for the grace of God. Some new signings over the coming weeks preferably someone who can score or even two who can. Another run like our great escape could see us in the playoffs and a nail-biting end of the season. Given the players we have we should be better than we are.
