We’re still getting outplayed here. Feels like only a matter of time before they get a 2nd.

    2-1. Decordova-Reid. Can’t even say they don’t deserve it.

Another goal conceded from a set piece. Great.

Words fail me at just how bad we are. After losing to West Ham, I expected a response and all this is showing me is that we’re not good enough for where we all hoped to be.

I’m sorry but at what point do we start looking at the manager here? He’s made us objectively worse.

Spurs are 1 point behind us as it stands. Embarrassing.

You're winning 3-0 and Fulham look more likely to get a 3rd than we do to get an equaliser. This has been the worst performance I've seen from us in about 2 years.

    Soo ****ing weird.

I don't like Havertz and Rice together in a three - we are CLEEARLY not playing as well with this setup.
Rice is more of physical player and has done his job well.. but we need passers/creators around him.

    Why have we not seen...

------Zinchenko------Rice ------Odegaard----- not even once? while Partey was out.

I don't understand how soo many players can be off the pace at the same time, while Arteta won't try anything different to change things.

    FT. 2-1.

That was the worst performance I can remember since the game at Goodison 2 years ago.

There's not a single positive from that game whatsoever. Everyone absolutely shocking. And yet again, we are showing we are incapable of unlocking settled defences. Like I said in the thread earlier, it's like watching a totally different side.

Arteta needs to be under far more scrutiny and criticism than he's been getting. Some last winners have masked some of our abject displays, but you can't outrun your destiny. He has caused this mess and we don't have the resources to get out of it either, so we have to stick with what we have and just hope for the best.

Think we need to forget about the title now. You can't drop points to Fulham home and away, West Ham, Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea and Spurs, and expect to win the league.

Unless we get some major scalps away from home against the better sides, which I just don't see happening, then we have to be honest with ourselves and say it's over, despite us technically being a few points off the top currently. It's a Fugazi.

Genuinely shocked that Arteta acts like he who must be called Pep with having the squad depth to back it up.

You should not be only 1 Point ahead of us considering
    1. We have been plagued by injuries since the beginning of November
    2. We have got a new manager who is new to the Premier league and is trying to build his own squad.
    3. We lost our best player in the summer.

You will probably pull away from us but Arteta is getting off lightly imho

Arteta is just a one trick pony.
His obsession with constantly playing Nketiah as our No 1 striker is disturbing.
    Nketiah isn't even Championship standard.
I'm sure if we do someday manage to get a decent striker Nketiah will still get the nod.
    Pathetic !

Do you still think you'll win the league?

Yeah I still think we might. Nobody has looked like title winners yet.

I think Partey coming back into the side is of outmost importance though for us.

Liverpool and Spurs will be inconsistent, Villa won't match this level in the Second half of the Season.

Man City though are harder to call - I could see them going either way but we all know they are capable of going on a crazy run.

I admire your optimism, but I really can't see this happening.

For us to win the league now, we're going to have to win between 14-16 of our remaining 18 league matches. We are going to have to be almost impeccable. And we have some very tricky away fixtures coming up in the second half of the season. We will need some big scalps away from home and it's just not likely that we do this.

Like I said after West Ham. Focus on getting Champions League football for a 2nd year in a row, and go all out for the cups. The cups are our best chance of silverware this season. We've left ourselves too much to do in the league.

I think we need about 44 points in the next 19 games to win the league.

First half of the Season we managed 40 pts - with weird ass losses to Villa and West Ham.

    Its doable.
