I never mentioned anything about spouses not paying the tax, I merely pointed out that the threshold for inheritance tax is currently £650k for a married couple.
There is no mathematical argument to be made here. The current percentage may or may not be 96 per cent but if the thresholds are not adjusted over time then more and more people will be dragged into inheritance tax. Just like more and more people are finding themselves in higher income tax bands as the thresholds stand still while wages rise thanks to Bank of England inflation. Your stupidity remains unquestioned. Is Saint Greta your daughter?
No she's your mum. Oh and btw, 100%-3.7% (<---the percentage (an area of maths you struggle with) of ppl that actually paid inheritance tax) is 96.3% which obviously has been rounded down by analysts to make it 96% so there's no "maybe" about it you buffoon Also if the tax bands hadn't been frozen by successive Tory governments, in effect making ppl worse off then they wouldn't be falling into higher tax bands to the extent they are following payrises, you absolute clown please log in to view this image
Paying a small percentage above £1m on unearned income in tax doesn’t sound the worst deal plus imagine the joy right wing gaslit ****gibbons like Kustard would have when they find out their bill is exactly **** all after years of thinking they’d have to pay loads.
Just be a darling now and explain to us where you got the figures from that 50% pay inheritance tax, when the actual stats say it's under 4%. Waiting.
There's no arguing against the ****fest this country has become under the Tories. So errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... let's just say they're all as bad as each other. If we can't convince anyone else we'll just keep saying it until we convince ourselves!
