Uttoxeter 210 Benign dictator opens at 9/2 with hills and looks fair so i more than willing to take the early price
Morning all In the opener at Lingfield I’m drawn to the outsider FLY THE NEST @ 33/1 ew. (Skybet 4 places). Has won 3 times this year, twice over c/d and then had a break but only beat one home lto. Hopefully that was to blow the cobwebs away. Think this one will win a few more races over the winter months, hopefully starting today. Happy New Year to everyone too.
Here's wishing everyone a "Guten Rutsch"** (as they say down here and elsewhere in Germany), meaning a good 'slide' into the New Year! **The "Guten Rutsch" phrase literally translates to "Good jump" or "Good slide". Linguists debate whether the use of "Rutsch" stems from Yiddish or from an archaic German word meaning "jouney..... Source: Google/Wikipedia
In the finalé at Punchestown (15:45), a Pro/Am Flat race for Mares over an extended 2m2f on heavy ground, the Joshua Tree mare, Instant Tendance, has an obvious chance. Conditions will suit. Mr Harry Swan (5) on board for the Gordon Elliott yard 9/4 best price, in nearly all places, at time of writing.
40 points at 6/4 Tyrrhenian Sea in the 13.54. Loves Lingfield. Found only Lord North too good in the Lingfield Derby and unlucky 2nd last time out, pipped on post
Tony McFadden provides a Timeform ratings update following the action at Leopardstown and Limerick over the Christmas period.
At 3/1 the only danger, based on a fast time at Newcastle and form with Forest of Dean I'll have a 10 points saver on Blue Note. Won't cover the other bet if he wins but will minimise the loss. Can't be bothered to aim for a small profit as I think my main bet will win
I thought the perk of Brexit was all you foreign posters ****ing off to a EU certified site? yours wine in a pint bottle England
