Jones - close with Delap but just edged it Delap - menace as always and got a goal Slater - once again this guy continues to show his versatility, gets on with it and performs well. Special mention for Seri, usually on his case but had a good game
Delap Seri Jones Honourables for Coyle, Ingram, Tufan Good game from the rest, don't think anyone played poorly overall but we still managed to gift two goals away. Need, need, need to start cutting that out.
Delap Morton Connolly All played well though. Delap and Connolly’s goals were super so it would have been harsh to lose. We never looked in control in the first half, even at 2-0, but a much more controlled second half performance.
Tufan Seri Delap... Even thought Ingram did ok... though seemingly they dont trust him to go shirt as much as Allsop..
Delap - battling energy and a lovely goal . Morton - good performance in the middle . Slater - never say die attitude which stopped the team falling apart when they got their 2nd. We got there in the end and made hard work of it against the 10 men at the end. A third goal at 2 nil and we would have got 6 but weren't ruthless in front of goal . Well done boys . Come on City .
Delap - Turned the Blackburn defence inside out. Jones - Goal and assist and headed everything. Coyle - Captains performance (Put in a right shift)
