Hemir reminds me of simms in a way, looks half arsed all the time but has probably got in the best positions to score out of all of them

We should be playing Rusyn now because he could be conscripted to join the Ukrainian Army any time as they are running out of men to serve.

Don't worry, when they send the last of them into the meat grinder it will be you and me next.

Hes getting better and his hold up play was better the.other Monday night. Like all of them they make the odd good run in the channels or into space but it's rare the ball get there.

Burstow is the biggest disappointment for me, expected better.from him but just doesn't look interested.

Mentioned several times pre-season the lad at Notts County Macauley Langstaff.

    26, so experienced.

From the North East, so knows the pressures.

16 in 27 this season in a newly promoted side (a very strong one admittedly), following on from 41 in 47 last season.

Noses will get turned up, but there’s a good parallel with a certain Jamie Vardy here. Them number consistently suggest a late blooming player who was maybe missed in his earlier years. 57 in 74 with a shift in level is balling.

Brereton Diaz is best as a wide left forward. Our best player plays there.

Britt Assombalonga will be on crazy wages in Turkey and hasn't been a prolific championship striker for years. Go and read what Watford fans think of him and his attitude. Messages on their forum about him include 'he's fatter than I am' 'He looks like someone who should be playing for the reserves in a Sunday league team and I ain't kidding.'

Lucas Joao again will be on big wages. And again is another player whose attitude is awful. Text the manager after they had been relegated last season saying he wasn't playing the remaining games of the season. I don't want that anywhere near us. Also, yes his record in the championship is good but it's pretty telling that a premier league club never signed him or even really tried to sign him. Lazy.

Vydra hasn't had a prolific season for 6 years and made the move back to his homeland so I doubt he would move back. Also his best seasons came playing as a 10 not a striker.

Birmingham fans don't like Hogan and Birmingham are playing an inexperienced loan signing instead of him. Almost as if his 'experience' doesn't matter and Stansfield being a better player is all that matters.

I think there's a player there just needs to learn a bit and get some confidence back. Think we won't see the best of him until next season at the earliest and a loan could probably benefit him

He's an interesting shout that we've heard a few times before, the problem with him is that he is untested at this level and League Two to the Championship is a big jump.

Vast majority of these type of deals end up been heavily negotiated by the new buying team. That said , a loan would suffice.

Aye I agree but I’d seen a bit of him cos I got myself fascinated in that promotion scrap with Wrexham last season and he has great movement and pure instinct to finish.

The lad deserves a punt and someone will take it.

He does know English football and as I say he’s from the region. Can’t remember if he’s a Gateshead or Tees lad.

People might turn their nose up and the lad ends up in the league scoring and I will palm my face so hard ha.

When you think about how we can play, Hemir could be a better fit than them all.

If his hold up play continues to improve, he could be the focal point to bring others into the game whilst potentially not contributing lots of goals.

Do you mean new to league? I only ask as Adam Armstrong is a striker and has 4 or 5 more than Rajovic

Mate if you're not grafting as a young 19 year old in a new league trying to earn your crust, you will never graft.

Benfica were ready to give Hemir another deal. That alone tells me it’s far too soon to write him off.

Yeah that’s fair, I’ve not watched the 21s so can’t comment on his performances there, shame cos after pre season I really thought we’d found a gem, time is on his side though (as I clutch at any straw)

You may laugh, but I think we should consider outbidding Rangers for Lawrence Shankland from Hearts.
Knows where the goal is, puts himself about and leads by example.
Could mebbies get him for £1.5 to £2m, and he could be a perfect fit.

We've deployed numerous players in numerous positions that they don't normally play... Adam Armstrong is a striker
