I think you're right mate if there's a Howe player then it's him. I believe it's a loan, but with an obligation to buy. I'd not really seeing cm as the an issue personally because we seem overloaded there with a lack of pace if willock is missing. I guess the scouts etc know best though. Cb is an area Newcastle don't seem to see as an issue.
Probably because they saw the Forest players going through our midfield and on to our defence without a challenge in sight. On loan, I would be okay with Phillips. He's a decent solid player but just not City level. But then again neither are we. He's better than Longstaff. I wouldn't expect any significant action this window and figure we will go big in summer.
They dont make such calls based on one game mate he'll be a long term target and part of a future long term plan. He's an upgrade on Longstaff that's for sure, so not a bad thing I think would like a cb because we're very weak there don't you agree ?
