Edozie class. Replaced by Fraser who comes on and bags two, and sets up Che. The left side is sorted.

We look so strong at home and boy is it good to say that after a couple of seasons where we've been absolutely wretched at St Mary's.

Given what we’ve heard about them that will somehow be ours or anybody else’s fault.

Last couple of games have feature Albert Adomah and Yannick Olasie. A combined age of 72. Walking football for them soon.

Aren’t half our team youths? To me Russell Martin is a youth. Compared to Roy Hodgeson he’s still in short trousers.

Explain that it’s not always like that. Sometimes we only win 1-0.

Moving up to 3rd and 3 points above Leeds feels massive. Absolutely huge day of football.

Best performance of the season so far?

When things click we are like a constrictor slowly sapping life out of our opponents.

Swansea were really poor but we absolutely maximised the extent of the victory.

That was the ruthlessness we have been looking for and the subs played a big part. Remember Eddie Jones referring to the England Rugby Teams subs as the ‘finishers’ and it certainly feels like our subs perform that role.

That was my first time back at SMS since Boxing Day last year. What a difference a year, two transfer windows and two new managers makes.

I think you're being a tad harsh on Swansea. I think they were brave in trying to have a go but they badly ran out of steam in the last half hour. Our subs made it brutal for them - our bench is a serious weapon.

Said it before but the substitutes are nearly always perfect, in recent games especially.
Everyone that comes on makes a contribution whether it’s helping the team to come out of a wobble, a smart bit of dribbling, a tackle or a pass that lifts the team and fans. Then you get days like today when 3 subs contribute 3 goals and 2 assists.
So much credit has to go to the back room team for getting the players in the right frame of mind to make that difference when thrown into the game and also to the players for taking their opportunities to impress.
A special shout out to Ryan Fraser though, who is always up for it when he comes on and could maybe be excused for being on the bench behind Edozie and Sulemana. I just hope that Edozie is watching the positions Fraser takes up, when the attack is building down the other side of the pitch, because he’s giving him a master class in getting into goal scoring positions.

I remember that game with a great deal of pain!! Simply awful. That's why this season has been such a welcome change. Frankly I don't really care what league we're in, as long as we are winning and banging goals in, I'm happy!!
