As an Englishman and therefore neutral I shall tell you what I think of GG. He is the only honest politician we have had. And the only man to enter Parliment with good intentions since Guy Fawkes. Oh, and I'm an Athiest so I don't care about your mental catholic/protestant nonsesne. George speaks with honesty and love. No-one has ever bettered him in debate. He humbled the American blowhards, not that that was particularly difficult for anyone with half a brain. The world would be a far better place with a few more people like George.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2002/sep/16/iraq.interviews At the same time, he was accused of fiddling his expenses and philandering. While an independent auditor cleared him of dishonesty, he admitted to coming away from a business trip to Greece with "carnal knowledge" of more than one woman, despite being married at the time. http://www.socialistworker.co.uk/article.php?article_id=9334 "Hizbollah is not and has never been a terrorist organisation" And him brown nosing Sadaam Hussain. Yeah if only we had more people like Georgie.
My my, possums, I've heard of the double standards of some weirdos in Northern Ireland but i didn't realise it went that far. I understand your soccerball team has a goalminder - is your basis of dislike for My Wee Dinkum Georgie, the source of your adulation for said police-botherer? Didn't said goalminder get caught lying to the police? As for your assertions on Hezbollah(sic), I think you are perhaps mixing them up with the IJO in a politically very complicated system like Lebanon, it's very easy to over-simplify. I think I'm beginning to understand how that little bit of Ireland has had so many troubles.
He has been humbled in debate....YouTube has a few lost arguments with a bearded professor It also has a few of his unloving rants against Jews What I want to know.....is he the fan with no name?
I often listen to his radio show on Friday nights. He is a great debater, highly articulate and informed. My main criticism is that once he twigs that a caller is a bit right wing, he won't let them finish making their point, just shouts them down. I've emailed the show a few times and he has read out a few but labelled me a racist for saying that the asylum seekers in the camps around French ports should claim asylum in France rather than try to get into the UK. He's also very quick to call anyone from Glasgow or Northern Ireland names such as "Billy the Bigot" if anyone from those areas happens to criticise the Catholic Church despite him being of a "mixed" background. But when it comes to the history of the Middle East, Cuba, South America, Socialism and Trade Unions in the UK, he is very interesting to listen to.
