It’s one of those where 9.9 times out of 10 a striker would put it in the net. That drops when you are playing someone in the wrong position and even more when it’s a young player.

That’s why we should have an actual striker on the pitch every game.

Over 2 million spent on Rusyn.

286 minutes played in 4 months.

His translator is one of our youth players.

Former team playing in Europe while he plays for the u21s.

Has the same amount of goal contributions as Roberts in over 1000 less minutes yet one gets a new contract and is praised and played constantly and the other sits on the bench and gets labelled a failure.

I will defend the club to the hilt but our handling of him and other foreign players is pathetic.

I think if any of the strikers had shown anything in the last few weeks someone like Dodds would be pushing for them to get a chance. The only conclusion I can draw is that they are not good enough in training to earn a place. Players arent daft and if the squad see a player going in when in training he is poor eyebrows get raised.

I am starting to think at least 3 of the 4 we signed arent going to be good enough. Maybe even all of them. Very disappointed in Rusyn so far, but he has been injury prone so I am prepared to hang some hope on him. Whether he is the real number 9 we need I dont know. We need to do something in that position in January or we will continue to struggle to adopt tactics for a forward player.

It's like people.are just wanting to get annoyed cos of how they are feeling towards beale. What do folk expect him to do? Just make a raft of changes for hell of it? It's a perfectly reasonable team. If he threw in mayenda, rusyn or whoever we'd most likely fare no better.

Could be right but Ba up front last game, Clarke the game before. Both of which are absolutely dire in the central striker role.

If they aren’t better than that then Speakman needs to answer a few questions regarding the quality of the strikers we have brought in.

Seeing the players arrive at Hull not one looks happy. Might be the location but they all look miserable as sin.

Wey least it’s proof speakman doesn’t pick the team right?

surely he thinks the strikers he bought are good enough?

I honestly cant understand why we replaced Mogga with someone like Beale. Mogga was a father figure to the squad and he had a strong bond with them all. Beale just looks a miserable tw@t. I can imagine quite a few of the players feel abit pished off about it.

Bellingham up front with Dack supporting him is the most threatening forward option we've got at the minute.
