Honestly don't think anyone will have to shoot the messenger, QMII. Not that it means much, but IMHO "V Twelve" has an excellent chance in this event. Good luck! <ok>

Kempton's Boxing Day card used to start with a good novice hurdle over 2 miles which saw some very smart winners (including Altior) but this year we kick off with the novices handicap chase - a trappy enough contest which I'll leave alone.

The trio of Grade 1s at Kempton starts with the Feltham and the most interesting runner is Il Est Francais. Jockey James Reveley will be hoping he can win the race that his dad, Keith, won as a trainer with Ungaro in 2006. But the man to follow on Boxing Day at Kempton is invariably Paul Nicholls and his Hermes Allen should be up to winning this.

The Christmas Hurdle should see Constitution Hill win by a street and the King George should be another one for Nicholls in the shape of Bravemansgame.

Nicky Henderson can also complete a double on the day with Gentleman's Relish whilst the new look Tolworth at Aintree can go to Ben Pauling's Tellherthename.

Farren Glory desperately unlucky at Aintree. Was going to win by a distance and came down, looks like the Royal Bond was no fluke with the 2nd that day also easily beating a highly regarded Mullins fave earlier in Ireland.

After this I don't have much hope of him going to Turners.

Did you see the Royal Bond is going to lose its Grade 1 status? A bit strange after it finally threw up the Supreme winner last season.

Constitution Hill - easy peasy and looked like he was having an exercise canter

Fair point from Ruby regarding parading in front of the crowd before the big races. Unfair to let 2 off and still make the others do it.
