in my 50 years apart from Rangers supporters at Gary bennet's testimonial night at Roker park and Hartlepool the SOL , there has not been 6,000 from any club let alone Newcastle, 2,500 in the north stand is enough, there will be about 100 coaches bringing them as well where will they park ?, rather than 10 coaches vs Coventry. it is inside the stadium that is the worry no fences etc. the bottom north stand is open as well, why did the Boro only get 2,000 tickets then.

We've been quite happy to take 6,000+ to places like Cardiff, Man City, Wigan, Man Utd, etc ...

.. are we now saying 2,500 is enough for our future games.

To be fair the Mags always got the big corner of the Roker End (c. 6,000) in the 70's when it held 16k, then when the top half was demolished in the early 80's they got the full Roker End (c. 6,000)

It's not the numbers coming, it's the way our fans FEEL they have been treated, I found out today of all days we did not HAVE to give them THE BCB they could have given them a bigger section of the Prem and steel partioned off the the gang way.
    But hey ho

I think everyone knew that giving them more of the premier concourse was possible, most fans are not stupid and that would have been the common sense thing to do.

I really can’t get my head around how they thought they could spin the BCB as a more viable option on safety grounds, it’s absolute bollocks.

I was misidentified for shouting something toward a Stewart years ago in the SWC. Got took down the access tunnel by one of the tru blue ****ers. I've mentioned before I'm 6'3 and 17 stone, the relevant mentioning of this is because they decided 4 of them would surround me while one asked for my season ticket, one walked passed "you banning him or just a word, nair just a a word this time, then sent me on my way". I want back to my seat fuming. About a week later, seen Mr True Blue big shot in Asda, without his mates, he seen me, basically **** himself and darted around the corner. I was with the missus. Ended up seeing him again in the next aisle, I decided to be the bigger person and say nothing, he walks passed and awkwardly said "Ah reet mate", my response was "are you f**kin taking the piss?" He said nothing more and we went about our way. I'm not a trouble maker, never have been, but that whole episode pissed me off. Stewarting is a hard job and not something I would want to do, but there's a right way and a wrong way of doing it. Don't lump all fans in the same bucket.

Yes of course, our fans at home should have the best available seats, inc as many BCB members as possible.
I understand there is no set amount for hospitality, to be given to visiting fans.
£600 inc vat to the mags per seat is money making profit no doubt.
I applaud that, but not at our fans betrayal.
To late now anyhow, and they have not sold the full allocation of BCB seats yet, so lets wait and see.

No mate, I mean should we put our fans in the BCB now and be surrounded by Mags. That would be suicidal. I’d have preferred 6k in the NSU and would probably have had to move, I’m in P1 but the safety group decided this way the best. I don’t see it as betrayal at all, if they throw objects they’ll only hit their own supporters.

Do you think it’s a good idea to have SAFC fans sitting beneath NUFC fans? I certainly don’t

Thing is, it won’t bother those idiots and people will get hurt. Far more so if we were underneath them.
